I spoke with Peter Chakerian ahead of our upcoming shows at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque and Columbus’s Gateway Film Center.

“What’s going on internally is nothing,” Carson told Cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer in an interview last week. “I’m not thinking about anything. Nothing’s happening when I’m playing piano for me. And so, I don’t really notice the before or the after state when I’m playing.”
