March 12 Cambridge, MA – Screening, Performance and Q&A
The Brattle Theater | Tickets
In our Boston premiere, Cabin Music screens at the historic Brattle Theater. I've seen many films at the Brattle and it's going to be very special to screen Cabin Music here – a homecoming of sorts. After a short post-screening performance, I'll be joined by New England Conservatory faculty Hankus Netsky and Linda Chase for a special discussion Q&A.
March 14 Salem, MA – Fireside Performance
First Church Salem | Tickets
For the first time I'll be performing a solo concert in the Boston area in the Cleveland Room at First Church Salem. This intimate concert grants free admission to the March 11 screening. Co-presented by the Salem Film Fest and Northey Street House.
March 16 Newburyport, MA – Screening, Performance and Q&A
The Screening Room | Tickets
Next, we head to Newburyport's The Screening Room – a wonderful example of local curators putting together intimate and compelling events. This will include a short post-screening performance and Q&A.
March 19 Cotuit, MA – Screening, Performance and Q&A
Cotuit Center for the Arts | Tickets
Our Cape Cod premiere takes place in a major arts center – a fantastic performance & screening venue. This event is presented by the Woods Hole Film Festival and will feature a post-screening performance and Q&A.
March 22 & 23 Martha's Vineyard, MA – Roundtable Concerts & Screening
Stillpoint | Tickets
Stillpoint is a beautiful new space, a converted barn on Martha's Vineyard, dedicated to “holding space.” We're doing two afternoon concert-discussion groups held in the round.
The legendary piano technician David Stanwood will open each event with a performance of bowed piano strings. Then I'll play. Audience members will then be invited to share reflections inspired by the music. Then we'll repeat and deepen this cycle – performance, sharing, performance, sharing.
We don't know exactly where this will go, and we'll be evolving the format in the future. If you can make it to the Vineyard (or are already there) this is ground zero for a new kind of concert experience. It's what Cabin Music is truly about.
We'll also screen the film at Stillpoint on the night of Saturday, March 22, between the concerts.
March 25 Mystic, CT – Screening, Performance and Q&A
Mystic Luxury Cinema | Tickets
The Mystic Luxury Cinema is a beautiful, super-comfortable screening room – an ideal, intimate environment to experience Cabin Music. I'll be there, performing and doing a Q&A after the screening.
March 26 & 27 Providence, RI – Screening, Performance and Q&A
Avon Cinema | Tickets
We round out the tour at the iconic, historic Avon Cinema. For those unfamiliar, this is a legendary, family-owned cinema spanning three generations. I'll be performing and doing Q&As after each event.
