It was a honor and privilege to perform in the Crypt with Death of Classical to a sold out audience to celebrate the release of The Story of Birds on Bright Shiny Things.

In conjunction with the release of The Story of Birds I directed this music video featuring the dancing of Chelsea Hecht and wrote about the project for The Violin Channel.

Cabin Music will have its World Premiere November 13 at 6:30p at DOC NYC.

Pianist and filmmaker James Carson’s debut album The Story of Birds will be released October 28 on Bright Shiny Things. The eleven tracks—recorded consecutively, with no edits or alterations—grew out of Carson's recurring months of isolation and practice in a remote strawbale cabin that he built in the Canadian wilderness.
